Mina finally gets the crown back, but just as she reaches the palace, Bruno refuses to move. Within minutes every delivery dragon in Bellweather copies him, and Bruno accidentally becomes the leader of the least organized strike in history. Mina still has to get the crown inside before sunset.

Episode 1: The Grounded Dragon

Bruno’s refusal to fly becomes a citywide labor movement before Mina can get him—and the crown—past the first bridge.Bruno lies accross placeses steps.

Mina tries to rush Bruno across Bellweather before Ode’s checkpoint seals the bridge, but Bruno refuses to fly over “a labor dispute” that does not yet exist. When Ode orders him airborne, he loudly explains that dragons deserve breaks, reasonable harnesses, and fewer ceremonial snacks. Mina’s lost whistle summons every nearby courier dragon into an accidental solidarity sit-down. The city’s delivery network freezes, Bruno is hailed as a hero, and the crown remains legally secured in his belly. With bridges beginning to close, Mina abandons the sky entirely and shoves Bruno toward the palace in a vegetable cart.

Episode 2: The World's Slowest Express Delivery

With every courier dragon on strike and sunset approaching, Mina straps the royal crown to a bakery cart while Bruno blocks the palace gate, forcing her to finish the city's most important delivery at walking speed.

Trying to bypass the first bridge closure, Mina drags Bruno through Bellweather’s cramped service lanes in a vegetable cart. When an irritated guard whistles and jokes that Bruno should shake the crown loose, Bruno is offended on behalf of all professionally transported cargo. He erupts into a ridiculous dance routine, turning every clink from the crown in his stomach into a beat. Nearby striking dragons instantly join in, transforming Mina’s route into a chaotic rally and Ode’s neat lockdown into a public spectacle. Mina gets Bruno past one closing gate under cover of the dance—but loses the cart to Bruno’s overcommitted fountain finale, leaving the pair slower, muddier, and still far from the palace.

In Bellweather, dragons work as licensed delivery animals. On her first day as a courier, Mina gets paired with Bruno — the only dragon in the city who refuses to fly. Ten minutes into the job, Bruno swallows the royal crown meant for that evening’s coronation. Mina has until sunset to recover it before the royal guard arrests her, while Bruno seems convinced this is the best day of his life. The coronation begins at sunset; if the crown is not on the royal cushion then, Mina is arrested for royal negligence and Bruno loses his delivery license. Licensed delivery dragons cannot be cut open, forcibly searched, or sedated while carrying a registered parcel; disputes must be resolved through courier protocol. Anything a licensed dragon intentionally swallows during a route is legally classified as secured cargo until it exits naturally or is voluntarily surrendered. Bruno claims he refuses to fly; Mina believes it, while the truth is that he is fully capable of flight.
