Every night, the last metro crosses the city at 11:47. One night it makes an unscheduled stop at Calder Street, a station officially sealed after a fire fifteen years ago. Mara Solis steps off carrying evidence about the death of her police-informant father and disappears. By morning, every camera shows the train never stopped, but conductor Elias Venn finds her blood-stained ticket in his pocket.
